Highchair and sleeping adventures!

I had to get out the camera twice this week while Trey napped. Today he wanted to wear his cowboy boots to nap... ok... fine by me! LOL! So cute!Monday I went into check on him and he had fallen alseep on the floor sitting up against the wall~ LOL!
Shelby is now sitting all alone - no more tipping over (so she even gets to sit alone on the hardwoods!) So when we went out to eat over the weekend she sat in a highchair! She loved the new perspective and had a nice time looking around and grabbing whatever she could off the table. Trey even enjoyed her sitting next time him!

A day in our city

Saturday morning we headed to Pemberton Place/Centennial Olympic Park for the "Everyday Heros" event - put on by Coke, the Aquarium, and National Museum of Patriotism. (This is really a neat place since Coke and the Aquairum have moved in!) Centennial Park is now bustling with activity and is a nice place to spend an afternoon... Anyhow- Trey LOVES firetrucks and Police cars so what better place to go. He spent about an hour running from Police car, to firetruck, to police car, and firetruck. We even rode a firetruck (although I couldn't really get any good pictures of that). After all the fun checking out the police and fire stuff we walked over to the Olympic fountain rings... Trey is becoming a real water lover so we thought he might appriciate the rings. And boy did he ever! I am thankful for once I thought ahead and brought a change of clothes for him... if only I had brought myself some clothes- Iwent home pretty wet... I had to join in the fun with him! Check out the pictures!
Unfortunetly this was all happening right in the middle of Shelby's nap so she enjoyed some sleepy time in her stroller!

Sitting!

Shelby is now sitting up all alone!!! She still topples over if she reaches to far for something or just randomly tips back... so no sitting alone on the hardwoods just yet! This is an exciting milestone for her- such a new world to see and even for Trey~ he is enjoying that she can sit up and watch him... won't be long until they are running around together!!

Planes and swings!!

Over the weekend we spent the afternoon at a really neat park- Peachtree-Dekalb airport has a park almost on the runway! How awesome... here are some pictures. Trey wanted to try on my sunglasses- NO pictures please!
Here he is with his own Hotwheels sunglasses!
Shelby LOVED the swing! I think I got some really cute pictures of her!

Trey and Chipper watching planes take off and land!
Here is a shot of the swings - like I said the park is almost on the runway!
Trey flying like a plane on the way to the slides!
Trey wanted to ride his bike - and wear my helmet (backwards!)
I had to get a few more pictures before we put the helmet on the right way!
